I'm very excited to announce that I will be performing in Andrew Bovell's When The Rain Stops Falling directed by Kimberly Mohne Hill. I have the pleasure of playing Elizabeth (younger), a 1960's Londoner, wife, and mother, whose story is incrementally revealed alongside that of her older self and of the next three generations of her family.
This compelling family saga takes us back and forth in time from one generation to another, from 1959 to 2039, and from London to Australia. With four generations of fathers and sons, and their mothers, lovers and wives, the play is epic in its scope, yet at the same time extraordinarily intimate. The American premiere of When The Rain Stops Falling was named "The Best New Play of Year" by Time Magazine, and won five 2010 Lucille Lortel Awards.
Performances begin May 6th, Thursdays through Sunday, at The Dragon Theatre in Redwood City. More details and tickets available at the dragon website.
